TUBES

Elizabeth (who was 11 months old yesterday and days away from walking!) had an appointment with an ENT today here in Augusta, and she is going to have tubes put in. She's had 5 ear infections in the last 7 months and has been on so many antibiotics. I am somewhat relieved because I do not want her to build up a resistance to those medicines. They are going to call me to schedule a date, and the doctor said they get us in within 2 weeks. So, everyone keep that in your prayers! Very minor procedure I know, but anything medical with your baby (especially when they have to have anesthesia) is makes me kinda nervous. I'll be glad when it's over!

Other news....we left New Orleans on the 15th and have been in Augusta ever since. Well, we did go to Kershaw for a couple days to visit Meemaw and family, but other than that, just hanging out in Augusta. Lindsay came with little Gray so it's been fun getting to know my little niece. She is so cute and Elizabeth says "AWWWW" when we show her Gray. She is also saying Mama and Uh oh! Trey had a lemonade stand and has been doing LOTS of swimming. Tomorrow we leave to go to the beach for 10 days to see Bobby's family....tubes will be after a wonderful beach vacation! Should be a good time. I will post again after Elizabeth's tubes are successfully in place!:) Everyone have a great and safe 4th of July!

I'm Alive!!!!

It's been forever! We have been super busy. We left New Orleans on the 21st to start the drive to a wedding in Williamsburg. First we stopped off at Charlotte to spend Friday night with my sister, but then Saturday morning we were up bright and early to go see Brooke and Matt get married! Trey was the ring bearer and I was the matron of honor...so we had a lot of responsiblities.....therefore, Daddy and Elizabeth really bonded!:) We had a great time at the wedding and Trey was a dancing machine at the reception...it was awesome! We got to meet up with so many old friends and really enjoyed meeting new ones as well. After the wedding we were off to the beach, and I will post those pictures later. So far this summer has been really fun, except Elizabeth has her 5th ear infection in 7 months, so we are going to see an ENT in a couple weeks about getting tubes! YUCK!!! At this point I'm willing to do anything to get her better though! Hope everyone is having a great summer so far.:)
